Mona attended Hofstra University majoring in teaching, but found herself in the insurance industry in June of 1999 and has remained in the Commercial Insurance field since. If she had to choose a title for an autobiography Mona picked the title “No Pictures…PLEASE!!” as she tends to be a private person and can get upset if others do not respect that boundary.

Mona shares her love with two daughters, one grandson and one granddaughter and her main man is Mazel, Jack Russel/Whippet mix who really runs the household.
