Many people now agree that using a cell phone while driving increases your risk of having an accident.

About 25% of accidents occur due to distractions while driving.  People who would never consider driving drunk… will get behind the wheel every day and use their cell phone while driving.  Many studies show that driving while using your cell phone can impair your ability to drive even more than if you were driving drunk!
Currently Pennsylvania does not have a statewide law against cell phone use while driving… however some local ordinances ban it (Philadelphia and Harrisburg).
